Brian J.
Stark is a native of Grand Rapids, Michigan and joined Bauer, Gravel,
Farnham, Nuovo & Parker in February, 2011. Prior to joining the firm,
Brian was an Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of Fred V. Peet, P.C.,
a busy real estate firm in South Burlington, Vermont. Brian also
previously served as Assistant In-House Counsel at JACAM Chemicals, LLC in
Sterling, Kansas. Brian’s areas of practice include real estate
transactions, representing homeowners associations, environmental & zoning
law, as well as business/corporate formation and transactions.
Brian
received his undergraduate degree in Urban Planning and Development with
honors from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana in May of 1999.
Subsequently, Brian attended Vermont Law School, graduating in May of 2002
with both of Juris Doctor and a Masters of Environmental Law. Brian was
admitted to the State of Vermont bar in 2003 and the State of Indiana bar
in 2005.
During
his studies at Ball State, Brian interned with the Town of Fishers,
Indiana Department of Development assisting the Planning and Zoning staff.
Following his second year at Vermont Law School and throughout his third
year, Brian was a law clerk with the Law Offices of Fred V. Peet, P.C.
conducting title searches and assisting in real estate transactions.
Brian
volunteers his time as a judge for the We The People: The Citizen and The
Constitution competition both at the state and national level, as well as
returns to Vermont Law School every Fall to judge student appellate
advocacy arguments. A resident of Burlington, Brian also enjoys both road
and mountain biking, as well as swimming and skiing. |
