Jon joined the Firm in the spring of 2001 and began a legal apprenticeship in June, 2001. After working for two years in the Firm’s general civil law practice in the Burlington office, Jon joined the Firm’s Real Estate Department in the Colchester office. Since that time, he has worked primarily in residential and commercial real estate transactions, focusing on the State and municipal permit process, resolving title issues and defects, and conducting title searches. In February, 2006, Jon sat for and successfully passed the Vermont Bar Exam and was thereafter admitted to the Vermont Bar in June, 2006. A native Vermonter, Jon graduated from the University of Vermont
School of Natural Resources in 1998 with a Bachelor’s Degree in
Recreation Management in the Private Sector. After college, Jon worked
in the marketing department for the Vermont Ski Areas Association for
three years, promoting the ski industry through a wide variety of
duties, including broadcasting snow reports on over twenty radio
stations throughout Vermont every morning during the winter. In addition to developing his legal practice, Jon enjoys the Vermont outdoors, including skiing, snowboarding, golfing, hockey, and softball. His other passion is music, and he plays guitar and trombone in a variety of different community music groups. Jon fills up his remaining free time spending time with his family and his nieces and nephews. Main
