Banking Law

Bauer Gravel Farnham represents credit unions, banks and other lending institutions in a variety of regulatory matters, general banking law and specific transactions and litigation matters. Through representation of these clients, we have developed expertise in a number of banking law related areas and maintain a good working relationship with both the Vermont Department of Financial Regulations, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the National Credit Union Administration.

Additionally, we have been successful in representing banks in several multi-million dollar lender liability lawsuits and were co-counsel representing a Vermont bank in a lawsuit against its former president which resulted in a verdict on behalf of the bank in the amount of $8.7 million.
