5th Annual Lawyers Fighting Hunger Food Drive for the Vermont Foodbank – September 3 through September 17

Bauer Gravel Farnham is participating in the 5th Annual Lawyers Fighting Hunger Food Drive for the Vermont Foodbank!

September has been designated Hunger Action Month in Vermont. The Attorney General’s Office, in collaboration with the Vermont Foodbank and Vermont Bar Association, is proud to announce its 5th Annual Lawyers Fighting Hunger Food Drive. Last year, the Food Drive was held in June with the goal of helping in a time of unprecedented need. The drive was a great success, but food insecurity has not returned to pre-pandemic levels, making this time more important than ever in helping the Vermont Foodbank get food on the table for Vermonters in need.

This year’s event will run from: September 3rd through September 17th.

There are be boxes in the kitchen in Colchester and in the front of the office in South Hero.

Members of the public, including other lawyers and clients, family and friends who come to our offices, can also be encouraged to donate items if they want to help.

There is also a friendly contest among like-sized firms – so give what you can!

The winning firm will be recognized by the Vermont Attorney General’s office at the VBA annual meeting luncheon on October 8th.

 

The AGs is also encouraging participating firms to promote the event on social media using the hashtag: #VtLegalFoodDrive

BGF will update our social media, post news on the firm’s website, and will be posting daily on social media to show our engagement and encourage participation.
